Care instructions : summer collection

Wool and cotton are two natural materials that react differently to water and heat. Here are some tips for properly washing and caring for your Nitto Knitwear summer sweaters.

Use a gentle cycle in the washing machine

You can of course wash your Nitto Knitwear cotton sweater in the machine, choosing a delicate program at 20°. Remember to turn it inside out so that the outside of the sweater is inside to protect it from friction against the drum. Use your usual detergent to wash your sweater.

If your machine offers a spin, you should favor a spin between 600 and 800 revolutions per minute.

Dry flat

After washing, it is best to dry your Nitto Knitwear cotton sweater flat on a towel to avoid any deformation. Avoid exposing it to direct sunlight or intense heat source as this may cause discoloration.

Iron at low temperature

If you wish to iron your Nitto Knitwear cotton sweater, we recommend that you do so at a low temperature. Set your iron to the "cotton" setting, run it very gently over the sweater without overdoing it, and don't leave your iron on the sweater too long to avoid pressure marks.

By following these washing tips, you can preserve the quality and longevity of your Nitto Knitwear summer sweaters and enjoy all the comfort and style they offer you through the seasons. As with winter sweaters, summer sweaters do not need to be washed every day. If the sweater is not stained, it is advisable to wash it after wearing it five times.
